About Lindsay 

My name is Lindsay McGowan, and I live in North Liberty, IA with my husband and three boys.  I grew up in the Chicago 'burbs,  came to Iowa  City for college, met my handsome hubby,  fell in love with Iowa City, and never left! 
 
I specialize in birth, maternity, newborn, children, family, and senior portrait photography.  I am an on-location photographer, but I  do have a large, natural light studio space for indoor sessions.  Whether I am doing a lifestyle session in your home, a styled session in one of the various locations around the area, or a natural shoot in the woods or field of flowers, each session has a unique look and artistic feel.  As a photographer,  I  know how important it is to document the most important events and milestones in life. As a mom, I know that the everyday stuff is often more important than the big events. 
 
What makes me different? I don't put a cap on the number of images I give in a session.  While some photographers will limit to a handful of images, I look through a gallery and *know* the looks I need to give YOU.
Whether it's a series of facial expressions of your youngest kiddo, or it's a series of images leading up to a kiss with your sweetie, they are all important.  I always pick the best images that tell the best story, because that's your story!
